Backflow Prevention Testing

According to the Canadian Standards Association, a cross connection is defined as any actual or potential connection between a potable water system and any source of pollution or contamination.

Cross connections are present in every water system. Backflow prevention helps to ensure that dangerous contaminants, such as microorganisms, bacteria, noxious chemicals, heavy metals, gases and other potentially threatening pollutants/substances do not enter the community's potable water system.

At Island Smart Irrigation we take health and safety as seriously as water conservation.
